Before hiring a real estate agent, be sure to ask are you a full-time or part-time agent?

It is very important to know when considering hiring a real estate professional if they are full-time or part-time agent. Think about it for a moment, do you want a part time dentist, lawyer, mechanic or even a hairstylist? The answer should be no! You want a full time professional that is fully focused on their area of expertise. When you have decided to either buy a home or sell a home you will have questions and need guidance. You will need someone that is having day to day experiences in the industry, someone who is well educated and up to date on solutions should an issue arise. You NEED a full-time agent!

I am a full-time real estate agent, working in the Nashville, TN area. I have been buying and selling homes in the Nashville area for close to five years now. I am fully invested in my career as a REALTOR, and welcome your business. In the past two years I’ve helped clients buy and sell 40 homes, that’s an average of 20 homes per year. I would be honored to represent you in the sale or purchase of a home in our community. I work the Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, Mount Juliet, Hermitage, Lebanon, Smyrna, Lavergne, Christiana, Murfreesboro, Rockvale, Shelbyville, Readyville and Woodbury areas. Please call me at 615-556-1511 if I can help you with your real estate needs today.

Friday Funny….October 24, 2014

My five-year-old son was badgering us to get him an iPad.  “My friend brought his to school, and I want one too,” he insisted.  “Absolutely not,” said my husband.  “They’re expensive and fragile.  Besides, what would you even do with an iPad?”

Our son replied, “I’d put it over my eye and play pirates with my friends.”

Let’s talk HUD homes in Rutherford County, TN

What is a HUD Home?
A HUD home is a 1-to-4 unit residential property acquired by HUD as a result of a foreclosure action on an FHA-insured mortgage. HUD becomes the property owner and offers it for sale to recover the loss on the foreclosure claim.

Who can buy a HUD Home?

Almost anyone! If you have the cash or can qualify for a loan (subject to certain restrictions) you may buy a HUD Home. HUD Homes are initially offered to owner-occupant purchasers (people who are buying the home as their primary residence). Following the priority period for owner occupants, unsold properties are available to all buyers, including investors.
